RUN'S HOUSE: Just For You

Rev. Run's reality show 'Run's House' will arrive on DVD March 20. The hit show's third season starts April 2 on MTV.The hip-hop generation's version of 'The Cosby Show' will get the home video treatment just as the third season of the show gets underway.

On March 20, Paramount Home Entertainment will release 'Run's House Complete Seasons 1 & 2,' a three-disc set including all 16 episodes from seasons one and two, following former Run DMC frontman Rev Run as he returns to the studio to record his first solo album while also juggling life as a preacher, husband and father of five kids.

The DVD set -- retailing at $39.99 -- debuts just in time for the season three premiere on MTV April 2. Extras include an hour of bonus footage including interviews, extended scenes, music videos and room tours from 'Run's House: Family Confidential.'

The endearing and entertaining reality sitcom -- executive produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs and Russell Simmons -- has been a ratings hit on MTV, with both seasons ranking #1 in their time slot against cable competition and season two drawing an even bigger audience than season one.

It's the only "real" family show on Reality TV.

And we can't get enough of it.

1. ABOVE ALL THE REST OF THE REALITY HIT SHOWS, RUN'S HOUSE IS MY FAVORITE. IT APPEARS TO BE REALITY TV AND NOT SOME MADE UP BEHIND THE SCENES ISH. I DO BELIEVE IF A LOT OF FAMILIES HAD THE KIND OF LOVE INSIDE THEIR HOUSEHOLD LIKE THIS ONE, THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I CAN'T WAIT TO BUY THE SERIES! HELL, I'VE BEEN WAITING!! THANK YOU!!!

5. I have to completely agree with all the positive things that have been written in the other comment boxes. This is a "real" reality show. Some shows claim to be reality but seem to be more acting. The Simmons family has their ups and downs but at the end of the day their love for one another means more than anything. When I saw how Run let his girls go (let them move out) even though he knew his heart would break, that was so sweet. I also loved when he said he thought raising them would be the hardest part when actually letting them go was. Buying the puppy was a tear jerker for me. I lost it when Run came in with the puppy. I was also very upset when I saw the preview for Season 3 and found out that Justine lost her baby girl. I will keep them in my prayers and wish them luck if they do decide to adopt. Great show and I can't wait for April 9th Season 3. What a wonderful family!

6. I am excited that the show was picked for a 3rd season. I watched the first episode on last night, it was beyond what words can described. I'm especially thankful that your show reflects your spiritual walk and how it is intergrated in all aspects of your family life. Rev. Run you are a true example to men in regards to being the head and overseeing the affairs of your family. I love Jusitne, she is the perfect example of a strong and beautiful black woman. God Bless and continued success.

9. Simmons Family, I really love you and your show. Thank you for Run for loving your wife as you do; and thank you Justine for loving your hushand the way that you do and your children as well. You are an amazing family and I am so happy that your show exists. I'm glad that you have chosen to show us the real essence of "family". Spending time together and just loving one another in good times and bad. Nothing on earth is more important than family. Many Blessing to each of you!

10. Run's house is the best reality show that I have ever watched. In Sept 2005 I was pregnant with my first child and I lost it in December. I was a mess but God blessed me to become pregnant again and now I have a beautiful daughter (Kennedi). When I saw the episode about the loss of Baby Victoria, I cried like a baby but was encouraged by the Simmons family's faith and strenght in dealing with their loss. This show is real!!! Each episode has something that any some regular family can relate to. May God continue to bless the Simmons family.
